Classification Paragraph
The acoustic guitar is probably the most popular
instrument on the market today due to its great adaptability. There
are several types including, but not limited to: classical,
steel-string, archtop, and twelve-string. Acoustic guitars also come
in a wide range of sizes beginning with the miniature requinto guitar
and moving up to the Mexican guitarro'n
which surpasses the cello in size. The two most common materials
employed in the construction of acoustic guitar bodies are laminate
and solid wood. Blues, country, flamenco, folk, jazz, and pop find
their way in among the great array of styles played by acoustic
guitarists. Music today has been greatly influenced by the widely
diversified acoustic guitar.
