Lighting Devices

Classification Paragraph

Lighting is a critical component of today's nocturnal society and as such comes in many flavors to suit the variety of locations where it is needed. Some of the types of lighting devices in popular use today are chandeliers, flashlights, recessed lighting fixtures, and camera flashes. A few of the favorite constituents utilized by today's producers are wood, laminate, plastic, and polished or hammered metal. Lights also require some sort of bulb which may be long and tubular, conventionally shaped, candle flame shaped, or even as tiny as the pin-head L.E.D. In order for the bulb to produce light it must be charged with electricity which can be derived from batteries, a wall outlet, a generator, or possibly a friction crank like those found in emergency flashlights. Lastly, all lighting mechanisms have some sort of control which may be remote, switched, or operated by a local button. Lighting is very important to the world of today and has adapted to suit a variety of needs.
